The only knife I can think that I need is a chopper. I know the yard has put a few out, but I am not willing to pay second hand prices. I do understand the urge for something new, but I will keep my wishes selfish and hope for a Dogfather.

I have an big HI ASTK Khukri that would make an awesome chopper. Except I live in an apt and can't figure out why I bought the thing. Never used it, have been too lazy to try and sell it. Listed as 42oz and 18 inches long. I think it's more like a manual chainsaw than a knife. I don't even really have hands big enough to comfortably hold it.
Luckily, it did break me of the obsession with HI.

Hallo Mr. MonkeyBomb and the rest of you guys how is your day?
I'm not much of à gun knower or user but I like my knives.
The thing missing in my collection (not yet as large as I would like it to be,
but still a collection) is a hawk and a dogfather size knife! A solid hard use folder would be a very nice addition too...

Neus as you know I like my firearms. But I like my knives as well. I just was late to the party when it came to the Yard and Swamp knives. I'm trying to catch up though.

Yeah, every now and then some generous soul pops up on the forums and sells a knife and non-ridiculously inflated prices. Got my Choppy, DF, an RMD, a serrated HC and two Swamp Wardens from folks who weren't out to gouge on the forums. Got my Mud Puppy and plain edge HC from some really nice dogs and rats on these forums. Thank goodness for nice people!
