I'm not sure about a max size and most folks (I THINK) use either photobucket or flickr. I wouldn't make it to big though. Just find something you like, post it up as an avatar and see how it looks. Folks like me (somewhat computer challenged) don't know how to resize a pic so we just use what is offered. You computer literate folks can do some wonderful stuff.

OK, go to "MY HOME" click on "EDIT" for password etc. scroll down quite a ways and you will see a blurb about avatars. MAX SIZE IS 150X150 (may be smaller it says). Hope this helps.

Haha, I thought about adding to my sig line but it wouldn't fit. Here is what I thought about trying to make it say. Zombies quake and quiver at the mere mention of my name (or Point and laugh)! He passed last year he was a thirteen year old cranky pup that would get mad if you sat in the passenger seat of my truck. If I made him sit in the back seat he would just stare at whoever was in the front seat. I need to get some new pics of him this is when we brought him home from the pound. He is actually where my forum name came from. I started using it on a Lab forum. He is way worse about being under foot and trying to sit in your lap. Where as leeroy thought he owned the couch and the front seat of my car!
