Yeah I have only chopped something that thick with my DF maybe three times.

I hear you about getting the chainsaw started. Mine hasn't been started in maybe 3 years (Yeah I really use it a lot)!

I about wore myself out getting mine started last year. It took me thirty minutes of constant pull starting. I need top fire it up this spring to keep it in fresh mix anyway.

Mine is a little homelite with a 16 or 18 inch bar my wife got me used at a yard sale about 13 years ago. Definitely got her $50.00 worth out of it.!
