When I was in the Service I had to go to a pre retirement briefing. They told us that research had proven two things.
1. Those that work the midnight shift have shorter lifespans.
2. Those that retire, on average, only live about 10 years after they retire from the service.
I may have a shorter lifespan, for a multitude of reasons. AND I have lived beyond the average time I think because I didn't just set back and do nothing after retireing.
