Busy day today. Working on a story about the DoD banning removable media (cd, DVD and thumb drives) from being used on the secret network - SIPRNET. Pfc. Manning is still causing waves and will for years to come.

When I was in Japan I worked in a SCIF. Secure Information Facility. Our rule was it it was some sort of media like that, once in, NEVER out unless it was completely sanitized

The new regulation put in place will make it much easier to court martial violators. That should slow a few more people down.

Hell, there is even talks about trying Manning for treason. That is punishable by death. He is currently in a Marine Corps brig in Quantico sweating bullets I'm sure.

Well we ARE at war, even though the idiots in DC haven't officially declared it. Trying for treason IS a tempting consideration.
