This place has sort of became a second family to me. Talking with all you guys. I guess it IS a sort of therapy. I can be down and get on here for a while and I am soon feeling better.

No I haven't gotten any more. But I did get a 511 push pack, a couple GSI SS water bottles with nesting cups and some first aid stuff for it. Now when Patty gets well enough to "Walk about" we will be all set.

The ONLY thing I don't like about the bag is it does not have a dedicated water bottle pouch. The zippered pouches on each side unzip so you can put the bottles in to them but the bottoms are tapered and not full size all the way down to the bottom.

cool, ive heard a lot of good thing about that pack.
does it have any molle webbing where maybe you can add a dedicated water bottle pouch?

yeah but I don't want to start hanging stuff like that off it. I just got it for an easy short walk, to hold water, first aid supplies fire kit and maybe a couple sandwiches or something.

I've been seriously thinking about finding someone that can add a flat bottom to the end pouches for me so that the bottles will fit better.

But if I take it easy the bottles will stay in the pouches ok, but not the way I would like for them to. I MIGHT get a dedicated carrier for Patty, that way i would only have to worry about one bottle.

thats the thing with bags, there are always different in person. i wish there were stores where you could go try on/look at different bags and packs.
