In the pic, that is the Neckar River. The road running along it is one of the longest non-autobahn roadways in Stuttgart. It is none other than Mercedes Way.

Woke up about 30 min ago, hit the head, realized the cell phone was dead (my alarm clock), plugged it in, rolled around for a few minutes, decided to get up anyway just in case I did fall back to sleep. Going to be a long day. Oh well, life.

Not that I have seen. I haven't seen any ships in it in two years. I don't even think there are any ports. The river empties into Lake Constance which is bordered by Switzerland, Austria and Germany. the lake is only a few hours away, so I think it would be cheaper just to use trucks.

I have seen some pretty fancy yachts and speed boats. This city is full of rich folks.
