Actually the did the second test of the chest and neck area locally the next day, we walked from the ER (her throat started swelling again) straight to radiology and were out in about 15 minutes!

Randy, I remember the hospital visit and the test. I was hoping that was her last visit. I have been away for a few as a lot of things have caused me to be away from the interwebz. Funny thing is I am on cripple sticks but school, track meets, and other things still make me tired LOL.

I am not getting out. There are no bases there for Marines. I will be on independent duty as the Marketing and Public Affairs chief for the Marine Corps' Midwest recruiting district. I will be responsible for marketing the Corps to 5 or 6 states worth of highschoolers and college kids. Think recruiting the masses. I will be responsible for getting the kids to the recruiters.

hey, using those things is not an easy task! Makes you use muscles you are not used to having to use all that hard, usually. If THIS test is also negative (they are searching for tumors since they were not in the adrenal glands) the doctor in St. Louis said there is another test where she gets shot up with a radioactive material and they use I guess a whole body scanner. The test takes anyway from 1-3 house they said, and could take up to 2 days to complete. So much radiation that they have to give her an injection so the thyroid does not absorb it.

Supposed to be 86 here today and a high risk of burning up. The SE part of the state looks like they might get severe weather, but only a 20% chance. I would chance severe weather right now just to get some moisture in the ground, settle the dust in the air, and to make my eyes quite itching. Then again, if it rains the mold and spore count goes up and the allergies will kick in. [censored] if you do, [censored] if you don't.

JJ, sounds like a pretty good deal. I have a buddy that recruits for the Army--he recruits doctors, nurses, and specialists. He is from San Antonio, has TX, OK, AR, MO,KS and LA IIRC. He loves his job, says better than jumping out of planes at his age LOL.
