I'd love to get a few Dogs together in the Smokies sometime. But the best gathering is always Blade, if you could make it there. Dogs come from all over, even as far away as Australia I'd love to make blade but I just don't have the financial means this year. In the last three months I have way over bought. Sort of a mid life crisis. I started to get the knives I always wanted growing up and Busse was right up there with Randall. Well then I found swamprat, and then scrapyard where thanks to you great folks I feel like I have a home. I think I'm gonna have to cancel my plans too. I hate to do it, but money is just gonna be too tight to go. Maybe I can get someone to proxy and pick up one of whatever Dan brings out this year. Do you mean that Dan brings out a new product for sale just for that event.

I'd love to see a knife like the Rodent Solution with a RES-C grips. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I'm thinking a larger knife, maybe not Dogfather size but something substantial. I don't really think it'll be INFI, but I've been wrong before. INFI just puts it out of the price range of people that frequent the Yard. If I want INFI, I'll buy Busse knives. With all the time you have been around Busse and kin, would you say that infi would be the choice for a long canoe trip say the boundary waters where maintenance might be tough? I'm hoping to do a week and a half trip later this year.

Usually there is new offerings from all the Busse companies at Blade. Last year it was just Busse and Scrapyard.

That would be the Scrapper 5. Blade is pretty much identical, only it has RES-C Mudder grips. I use the same sheath for my RMD and S5

My thought are that a big blade is an attention getter, and everyone loves big choppers, but I like practical blades that I will use. My Weiner Dog is probably my most used Scrapyard blade that I own.

Is there usually always a LE run of a release that happens here at the yard?

My Weiner Dog is probably my most used Scrapyard blade that I own. As far as a kitchen knife the muk, wiener and wasn't there a little longer version, sort of a filet knife available. These would make a great camp set.

Basic shape is the same, but may be enough difference that it wouldn't work on kydex.
