Not all that many folks here have them in their homes. But a lot of exercise gyms have them available as a group sauna, Usually one for men and one for women.

I am Officially not looking forward to working tomorrow.

Recently watched a show called super human, they had the sauna champ from Finland on and ran some test to figure out how be could handle such extreme heat for so long. Something like 140+ degrees for 15 minutes.

I am not big on the heat anyway. Thats why I live where I do. Much cooler weather in the mountains.

Separate saunas are used here also. Ofcourse in homes we usually have only one.

I think dry sauna is some kind of swedish invention...

I like lots of steam (löyly) and I usually warm my sauna to at least 80°C. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Hot tubs are popular here. Very common in my part of the country anyway. I will say its nice to sit in a hottub/jacuzi in a snow storm.

It's freezing cold here also! At least in the winter.

The sauna competitions are crazy! I prefer relaxing and a moment off of hurry and stress.

always wanted to do the hot tub in the snow thing. maybe on my bucket list...

I live in the Rocky Mountains. The Hot tub and snow thing is way nicer than it sounds. Of course the run from the tub to the house is "invigorating"

The worst thing about the hot tubs is if I have had anything to drink it relaxes me so much I want to fall asleep. But after a hard day at work or playing it is really nice for sore muscles.
