I understand, they do similar things here, usually right outside sporting events and concerts, just waiting for people to leave because they know they have been drinking

I lived up in Gainesville for a time ( wish I still did, much closer to Blade!) the heat up there in the summer was Terrible! Just heavy and oppressive , the heat index was ridiculous

The thing was, people forgot they had those drinks before they went to bed! They woke up the next morning and thought everything was ok... Until they were stopped and tested!

Around here they call it a saturation or Checkpoint. They will have officers standing in the road stopping cars and several "Chase cars" in case someone tries to run on them (happens more than you might think).
