Got my War Dog in an old schrade skinner blade sheath. Sheath is about an inch to long and probably a quarter inch to wide. Hey, it may be hand-me-downs but at least she's got some clothes on now (although she DOES look good naked)! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I foresee this becoming my most used blade, MAYBE even more so than my Muppy!

Not too bad. Hit the range for 4 hours right off the bat. Got some frustrations out. Shot till my fingers were sore.

Not to bad. Slow now (hope it stays that way) so just sort of cruising and admiring my Tan War Doggie!

Mine did not make it in today. Maybe monday.

Well I like it. Light weight, thick but with the full flat grind, does not appear as thick as it is. Good feeling handle, but I like the more contoured mudder handles, just me, but the War Dog Res-c is NOT objectionable. I think that it will please a LOT of folks, specially bushcrafters although some would probably like a slightly larger choil.

From the video it strikes me as a good woods knife. An all arounder. i'm looking forward to getting it to see if my impression is correct. Kind of like a mora on steroids.

EXACTLY! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> And THAT is a highly thought of blade.

The blade length is long enough, but not to long, to do a multitude of tasks. It will do anything I would imagine except chop and it will do that on smaller limbs and twigs. And as Jared has shown, you CAN baton with it.

It may turn out being the Best all around do everything blade Dan has ever made.

I don't think it will best for any one specific job, but be good at all of them.
