I have a v-grind and my war dog. It is way sharper now than how I got it.

Mine came semi-sharp. Thought about putting a v-grind on mine, but I convexed my Rodent Solution and it came out ok. So I'm gonna sharpen my War Dog up and see how it turns out. I can always v-grind it later on if I don't do so good.

Mine came with an edge like a brick. But it's hair popping sharp today. I spent some quality time with it and a stone yesterday.

Mine would shave, with a little effort. But I don't like pressing that hard against skin, if you know what I mean. It WILL be better soon!

I've just got done hitting my WD Hack on a medium ceramic stone 50 strokes on each side and it is already sharper than it was.

I was looking forward to a scary sharp convex. But at least this way I can sharpen it myself with no major production. I was impressed how much easier infi is to sharpen. Of course that means it will dull quicker too.

Dulling I can handle as long as I can also sharpen it.

I was reading that a strop is all you need to keep INFI sharp, unless you let it get really dull. I'm hoping that's true. I've got to find my mouse pad and sandpaper and I'll let you guys know how hard it was to get sharp

I've tried that with some slightly used 220 grit sand paper and I have gotten it somewhat sharper, but it is WAY slower than with a hone and conventional V grind.
