It does seem a bit complicated for just one person but then again stranger things have happened. He could have been scouting things out for weeks and week, just waiting for the "right time".
But my money is also on more than one Gumby.

Apparently he had three guns pistol, rifle and shotgun. He was dressed as a police officer. There was over 500 young people in a small area.

Still I have a hard time understanding how he could have shot that many people. I guess living in a country like the U.S. we (I) have a hard time understanding how SO MANY could have been killed in such a short period of time. BUT I read one report where they said the kids were running up to him because he was "a cop" and he just shot them as they came to him.

There was a mention about an automatic rifle (full auto) but it's common that reporters don't know anything about guns.
