The bluff charges are interesting feature. How do you know if they are bluffing?!? I think a bear with cubs don´t want a fight but will take it is threathned. you don't know if it is a bluff charge or not until they turn you are not suppose to shoot them until they get about 20 to 30 feet away mind you at full charge they run about 50 feet per second So there´s about 0,5 second gap to make a perfect shot! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> one of the reasons that pepper spray works better for most hunters i think i would have soiled myself in my brother's place I´m sure that the pepper spray keeps all the other hunters unconsious. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I know that a lot of the "Dangerous" animals aren't really as dangerous as they are sometimes portrayed to be, but I STILL DON'T want to meet up with one! With my luck I would get the 1 out of a 1000 that has a bad attitude! you are right Randy, the drive to and from hunting is far more dangerous than the hunting is. there has probably been many times a grizzly heard us coming and simply stepped off the trail and watched us walk past. i have walked up trails and came back down 10 minutes later and found grizzly tracks that stepped on my first set of tracks gets the heart going
