JJ, it was awesome that you were there! Any pics from the ceremonies? I saw a couple clips of that young man and he is a very impressive man, he doesn't want all the attention and directs it toward all the brave servicemen.

JJ, it was awesome that you were there! Any pics from the ceremonies? I do have some, but they have to go through reviews to be released. I was not the photog though. I was there as a media adviser for Sgt. Meyer. Which means I mostly made sure he was ready to talk to the media and make sure his uniform was perfect for the camera. How cool was that? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> He looked and sounded very squared away.

Sergeant Dakota L. Meyer sounds like a very brave young man. It takes true honor to put the lives of others before your own like that. You just made me realize I jacked up his rank earlier. Yes, I just paid for it in push ups. MSNBC says Cpl. as well, I was just going by his wiki page which lists his rank as Sgt.

Congratulations for being able to be there JJ. I do know it was a great honor all joking aside. Not many "Normal" folks get a privilege like that. At least Obama gives a proper handshake unlike Bush. I had heard before that Bush could be rather um ah A Butt head.
