They burn amazingly well. I tried this after I noticed how much oil resulted from crushing a walnut. A half a nut burned like a candle for between two and three minutes. Between the oil and the porous meat, it's like nature's own vaseline-soaked cotton ball. And they come in their own handy water-tight packaging!

Not good for fire starting due to the high ignition temperature of the oil (though I didn't try a ferrocerium rod on it), but once you expose it to an open flame and get it going the amount of energy in there is just amazing.

Corn chips - such as Fritos - burn well also due to the oil content.

I would think that any oil bearing item would burn, such as peanuts possibly or tater chips. I HAVE heard of the Frito fire chips though.

C4 does a good job of heating a can of beans. Seriously.

After a little further research, it releases poisonous fumes when burnt. Don't do it. I was an idiot.

So, only for those with an NBC suit.

Oh and of course it's poisonous, burning plastic emits toxic gasses. EVERYBODY knows that!

Yeah, but you'd need an NBC suit from the fumes off her too.
