I'm starting to daydream about a leather wrap done on the handle of the ScrapiVore. Two pieces, one folded over the top of the handle...the other folded over the bottom of the handle....stitched together in the middle.

Mr. Law...what say ye?

The key I think will be sheath strength. Keep in mind that the grip on the knife blade might become fairly tight when the Scrapivore is used for prying. As a result, I'd want some kind of reinforcement along the blade-edge side of the sheath to protect my hand . . . either a heavy welt in the case of leather or extra eyelets and a tight fitting sheath in the case of kydex.
The kydex with extra eyes are the ticket.

. . . if you held the knife in the right hand, the spine would be against your hand and the bevel would be facing down. Just insert it under what you want to pry and this would elevate the blade upward. Then just push down. . . .

There it is. Exactly! The Scrapivore is obviously NOT meant for prying open locked bank vaults but is ideal for everyday tasks like prying out large packing staples, opening paint can lids, cans of SPAM, stubborn beer tabs, cleaning under really large thumb nails, horse hooves, scraping lottery tickets, etc. . .

The Scrapivore has more than enough strength for prying anything by hand and more than enough warranty for prying everything else.

I wonder how many folks will file or cut a V shape into the prybar end?
Crossed my mind but the meat of my palm would not like it when using the knife as a cutter.

Agreed- but I would like to see one INCLUDED with the offering.Or- perhaps Jeff and select others might be able to get one in advance so we don't have a long wait .Plus- maybe some options . Sure would answer many concerns IMO Just my 2 cents
