Hello all,

My brother-in-law (who met swamp rat / scrapyard / etc through a marathon chopping session with some of my blades and has also come to appreciate them) and I are in need of a proxy for easton / tulsa shows. We both just want one singular thing.

If you can help us out it won't cost you a dime and will forever put you in my good graces (and I'll be happy to return the favor or spout your praises on the board).

Please PM me if you can help us out!

I' wish I could have gone to Tulsa, I would have been glad to help, looks like they had a good show. Maybe they'll make this show a regular event, I'd love to go there someday.

man, hate that nobody was able to proxy for you. I asked for a proxy over on bf once and it kinda bugged me that nobody barely even replied. the yard has been a totally different story so my guess is that this post just got missed by the guys that could actually help.

wish i could've helped but just so that we can put it to the old grape vine. What blade(s) are you looking for?

We are both looking for a taz rat. My bro in law discovered bussekin through use of my waki, ratmandu, and regulators. He is going to order a Scrapivore combat grade or two, and already got a ratmandu and hrlm. But when we both saw the taz rat we both kinda freaked out over it.

I might be able to help you if they have Taz Rats at the Spring Knob Creek show (early April), but that's the next show I'll attend. If I were you, I might contact Eric (ratknives@insightbb.com) to see if he can get any.

You the man, Clint. I've proxied by handling the payment and shipping personally, and by having the Busse Combat crew handle them. Proxying through the shop is by far the easier way to go. I'm not saying that I won't ever handle the purchase and shipping myself again, but it's not my first choice. I'll proxy out-of-pocket if getting the knife a few days sooner might make a difference and there's no question about getting payment, but for most folks it's best for everyone if the shop handles the transaction -- especially me, but the buyer can pay by credit card through the shop, and in the unlikely event that there's ever a problem, they get to talk with Amy instead of Jim.
