So I've scoured the big posts and couldn't find a definitive answer. What is the difference between a righty and a lefty?

My guess is that it's the side of the knife that receives the full flat grind. Can anyone confirm? And is the one pictured in the store a righty or lefty!!

Thanks dogs

Syntax, you are correct. The right and left verison differs because of which side the bevel is on when the blade is in a cutting position. The picture in the video and on the website opening page is a right hand verison. This means that the "bevel" is on the down side IF you are holding the knife with the spine against your hand. The south paw verison is just the opposite. Quick trivia if you didn't know it.

From what I remember reading, most ball parks were orientated east and west. Therefore a left handed pitcher had his pitching arm on the South side of the field, henceforth "Southpaw".

I'm confused by both your posts (sorry! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> ) I figured the blade of the knife would have a regular V grind, and not chisel, but that the pry end on the tang is chisel ground on one side or the other depending on if you're right or left handed?

That might be what you guys meant all along, just double checking because I'm a little dense this AM.

MD, the EDGE is I think Dan said convex ground. The PRYBAR is what is chisel ground, at least that is what I was talking about. Still looking for the video. I know it's somewhere on one of the Scrapivore threads but just haven't found it yet. I got some other stuff goin on and can't set here to long at one time.
