I have seen what Dan has been working on and OH MY, he is going to make the Yard very happy! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Renee, please send me a P.M.and let me know what else besides the Dogzilla folder is in the works. Dan said it's ok to. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Thanks in advance. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Peace.

Oh you are good. Got your way with me and now onto Renee. She knows the ways of the Dog........you guys trained her <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> LOL

Oh yea, did I say how good you are but Renee is too tough for even the best of the best. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

I love it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

But I know Renee is too tough for me to take on solo. I would need the full power of The Yard! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

The best part is there is probably some "Anonymous" lurker unwise to the ways of The Yard that will go off half cocked
on another forum telling everyone that Scrap Yard is coming out with a folding knife in 2011! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Oh what a tangled web we weave .........

Good stuff. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Peace.

I have to admit when I saw the name of this tread I thought "OH NO", something BAD has happened to the "Factory". Then I read PoP's Post. Whew, a sigh of relief.

I don't know about the rest of you folks but I forget that Dan does not operate Scrapyard Knife company all on it's lonesome. He SHARES the facilities (unless things have changed) with Busse Combat and Swamp Rat. I am sure that the facility does not operate 24 hours a day which would theoretically give each company 8 hours a day to MAKE knives. AND I also forget that prototypes take time to set up, build, tweak and get JUST RIGHT before Dan will release it.

SO IF we keep these things in mind we will just begin to get an idea of the frustration Dan must face every day to get knives made and out the door and all of us pressuring him to give us MORE MORE MORE!

I for one am sorry Dan, for the stress I have caused with my incessant badgering for this knife or that knife or "Is it here yet".

Dan Is doing the VERY best he can with the space, time, and facilities he has available to him and I THANK HIM for all his efforts.

Randy

Randy, you get it!

Year after year within unbelievable time constraints Dan and his merry band have been able to supply our Military with thousands of knives to help keep our service men and women safe and well equipped with the second most important tool next to a firearm.

While doing this for our Military he has managed to fulfill every whim of The Yard. Even making a freaking sword. No Military sales here. Just for us.

And there have been many speculations about the 8 hour shift idea. Dan has stated that those terms couldn't be farther from the truth. Scrap Yards production time is very limited indeed.
And for him to constantly make what WE want is more unbelievable than most people would ever imagine.

Randy, you said it every well. Most people don't get it. Your post may enlighten the masses, and I thank you for that.

This "Necker" is one I whined about since Christmas of 2006.
With its release almost every conceivable length and blade shape has been met... with love from our host here in The Yard forum.

We all need to take Randy's point of view. Dan does more for his Yard family than any other company CEO I can think of.

Thanks,

Dave

LOL

Man you had me going <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Th Scrapivore CG is coming up VERY SOON.

In addition, there will be a significant introduction at or close to the CG release....if everything goes right.

I have been missing for days at a time from the forum due to the enormous hours I have been putting in to deliver whats coming. I thing most if not all Dogs will love it and each will find some part that they have contributed to this direction.

The Scrapivore CG is just the tip of this story...(sorry I just had to use the word tips)

Since we are asking questions; What are the colors that Dogs would most want to see on their Scrapivore CG's

Let me know and get ready for one heck of a 2011

I would like to see the cg's offered in black, orange, and sage.

I'd like to see the CG in basic black, sage and....desert sand.

Too bad Dan doesn't make firearms <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> We'd have a rifle that would never fail, never need lubrication, and would have a strong enough barrel that you could pry open a car with it. Who needs the Jaws of Life eh?

it'd probably way a ton though, lol. NOT that that's a BAD thing in a blade

I think everyone has pretty much covered the colors I'd like for the 'Vore. Sage would go along great with my ACUs, especially with the ACU pattern paracord I have for it now. Blue would probably be my second choice (and purchase <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />), since it would be innocuous enough that I could get away with carrying it every day. And lastly, a Scrapyard Red with black contrasting logo would be awesome!

Any color as long as one of them is black!

I think a pink one may sell well, my wife and daughter would both probably get one then as well.

And of course blaze orange, for the "where is it now" crowd.
