Sad story here.

A simple pocket knife,a Scrapavore around someones neck and this tragedy would have never happened.

Not even a person with an SAK? Big city sheeple. Pathetic.

I was raised old school. Every boy got a pocket knife by the time they were 6. Every man carried one.

I am the only person I know who carries a knife and that is a SAK due to our ridiculous weapons laws... That poor old lady, what a shame.

Hard to believe no one had a knife. Really is sad.

I always have at least a SAK on me. I was over at a friends the other day and they asked how many knives I had on me. SAK, HAK, RMD, Leatherman Super Tool 200 (best leatherman ever!) Benchmade, I guess that is all. I used three of them that day too.

Oh and had a Regulator, and SW in the car. Along with another LM and a cheap folder. And nail clippers.

Not only that but the attitude of the people he said was just walking by, not wanting to get involved! I'm sorry, but let THEM be in dire straits and have folks walk on by them next time.

FRIENDS, WE NEED TO NOT BE AFRAID TO GET INVOLVED. I Know I am preaching to the choir here, but that is ONE thing that is wrong with today's society.

I can't count all the phone calls I have received over the years ( and I KNOW Todd is the same)from folks over the years wanting to report something but "I don't want to give my name" or Don't tell them it was ME that called. Ok, in some cases I can understand it. But most of the time it's just sad.

I just watched "127 Hours." Yet another reason to carry a good knife. Not for the faint of heart.

I've carried an Old Timer pocket knife for so many years, I feel naked without it.
For lack of a lousy simple pocket knife that poor old woman died......

No not a lot. But I do have to fly soon so I guess I am going to have to check a bag with a couple Blades in it.

Funny thing is I am one of those crazy Liberals! And normally there would have been one or two pistols accompanying those knives.

It's really only gross for about ten minutes. The rest of the time is just feeling sorry for the dude and wishing I could give him a beer or something. Great flick though.
