I have the Delica 4 and Benchmade Griptilian as my current EDC, BUT I have an offer to buy a Benchmade 755 for about $100. brand new. Its blade is short enough for me to EDC and it is supposed to be overbuilt...I may have by next payday!

Puma Game Warden #971. This one isn't my knife. I've just been doing some research on the Puma and I guess I better rethink using it. It's a more expensive knife than I thought it was.

The ZT200 is the first one that comes to mind in that price range. The Manix 2, Houge EX-01, Leatherman MUT, a few Emersons, and a few other Kershaws come to mind as well... There are even a few imports I might pick in a pinch, but I'll stick with the ones already named, there's plenty to chose from there.

I'm not really a folder guy but if I had to have one that would be abused to the extent that you mention I'd save up some extra $ and get an Extrema Ratio RAO Folder.....from what I've seen and read these things are probably the strongest hinged knife available.

I just picked up a CRKT that has promise. 4 inch blade and thick with a very solid lock. The M21-04. I snagged one for 46 bucks. It came freakishly sharp and its Aus8 steel. I haven't beaten on it yet but it looks to be a contender.

POP, I mailed you a check yesterday! You should have it in about
Curious. No on has mentioned a butterfly knife. They, because of the way the blade and handles are attached may possibly be the strongest of any folder. What think ye Dogs?

Oh and POP, Vic did a writeup about the Raj somewhere a while back and had good things to say about it.

And also POP, what is the Spyderco with the Raj.
Spyderco is what got me started on this thread. I was looking at the Manix2 with some good and some bad reviews. The other one was the paramilitary/paramilitary2. I like the way the para looks and I really like a flat ground blade but wonder how sturdy it would be, plenty I guess. But, well you know....

If I already have one and it's over $150: CRK 'Zaan once I swap out to CPM-S35V (exchange available from CRK in about four months from now)...

I don't own one, but I have handled one. The ZT 0200 would be my choice. Seems as close to a bulletproof folder that I've ever held.

I love the BM 710 and BM 610/615.
More than $150, but have a Al Mar SERE that would be the first one I grabbed.
CS Rajah is a beast of a knife for sure.
