well if you post a "how to" iresh im thinking it would be cool to give one a try. ive been thinking of grabbing some odd and ends and doing some gadgeting and that would fit the bill nicely.

very cool Iresh! will see what I can do as soon I find some rubber bands. You answered all the questions I could have about rigging one of those up. I like the idea about the twist in the handle. I was thinking something like that would be needed but seeing it helped.

will post pics of what I come up with.

Yea The red rubber bands doubled or tripled up give a much better velocity but Thats what I had at the time....

You could make a way beter sling shot with surgical tubing but I think the point is being able to make one with what you might be able to find easily and this about hits that mark...look forward to your ideas...It was kinda fun doing that again after..I dont know....35 years <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

Ireash, great video, reminds me when I was young. I think I still have the wooden body of the sling shot my dad carved for me in Germany. Thanks for posting.

My Izhmash .22lr Biathlon Basic....she wears a Leupy 3-9 EFR (which I've updated with M1 turrets for longer range).

Very nice setup. I got a Ruger 10/22 for Christmas this last year and will eventually trick it out with bull barrel thumb hole stock and double set trigger. The barrel will be a 1-10 twist for sub-sonic 22LR. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

very nice guns. Someday I need to drop some buck on a well made air rifle.

I picked up a Marlin Model 25 (?) of my brother a few weeks back. This is one of the older marlin bolt action rifles with the tube feed system. I had shot it before, and really liked it. I really did not have a good knock around fixed sights .22lr so I figured for a 100 bucks I could not go wrong. I shot it some on Sunday and had a blast. All I need is to get a sling stud and instal (holes already there) and get a buddy of mine to make me a para sling. I got to say, open sights at a hundred is still fun!
