BigFattyT,
Good to see you over here. Who knows how long. Since the new plan went into effect I can not remember a time when a warning was not posted as to when the ordering window was closing. Then the rest is a waiting game like the other Bussekin steel.......................by the way I have a MUKLE on order too.

Couple quick questions cause I am kinda new.
Scrapyard is 100% USA made Right?
Are the Vores the same specs as the Limited editions except for having a thicker stock, FFG ect?
And do we have to wait a few weeks like SwampRat ect for the knives to be made?
Thanks

Steely, I believe the RH is a little softer, easier to sharpen, and coated. All American, get the sheath while you are at it as it is American made too. As to the order system it is similar to the Swamp. Order, wait, pay, get knife.

Ok awesome. How many Scrapyards have been made with the Full Flat Ground? I cant get the convex down to well so I like FFG so I can do it the Sharpmaker. I am still new to the art of sharpening. My Rodent Solution is going to be sent off to be made FFG.

I have to agree with Sumo, get the sheath while you can, that's a pretty unreal deal on pants! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

The knife is supposed to be in line, hardness wise, like all the other SR101 that the Swamp and the Yard makes, which is Great! USA made for sure! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> My guess it'll be 2 or 3 months before we have'em in hand. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I told my wife about them and she ordered a tanker grey one with pants as her camping knife/food knife/peanut butter spreading knife etc. She's really excited and now that it's "hers" I get to play with it as well when she's not looking lol

This really is an awesome deal! However, I passed on the sheaths in hopes that I can get me a taco style at some point...or preferably some leather (you hear me, Jeff? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I picked up one of the sheaths with my Orange 'Vore, and then three other colors minus pants. I figure I can use the one sheath for all 4 and then make my own kydex for other applications. I'll have to consult an expert for a leather sheath though *hint hint*
