I have a few autos, but my love is my S&W 640 .357mag in SS. It's my buddy and always goes where I go.

I have a Sig P220 DA/SA in 45acp obviously. It is the all SS model and makes a wonderful nightstand gun. It is super heavy.

I also had a P220ST, and you're right...it was HEAVY!

The all SS P220 is a great night stand / range gun, but I didn't like it as a CCW due to the weight.

I just bought a Ruger LCP. When I find my camera I'll post some pics. Very small pocket carry. I already have the S&W 340pd. I thought it was small.

I'm headed out to buy a pistol or a shotgun, but probably a pistol, as soon as I get showered and ready to go. The pistol will be the Beretta Px4 Storm in .45acp. The shotgun will just be an old beater Remington 870 Police for the house if I can find one. I've been telling myself I need to do this for about a year but I can never find the time, so I just decided to pass on the overtime tonight so I can do it. Now I just gotta schedule some time to go get my ccl. Very excited.

Congrats Adam! If it is a house gun be sure and try out one with a pistol grip stock! Personally those are the ones I like best.

Randy, it will be a house gun. Really just looking for an old beater so I can accessorize it the way I want, pistol grip included.

Can't argue with a 45Acp or Remington 870.

Ended up getting a Ruger P345PR, I'm very happy with it.

Good call! I'm not huge on shotguns for home defense. In the confines of a home it can be difficult to weild something very long. Not to mention, go try to open a door while holding or shooting a pump shotgun.

anybody rocking conversion pistols?

I just found out that a company called EFK made a 40 super barrel for a gun I have. I had never heard of the 40 super round but after some reading it seems like a good deal. It's a necked down .45 that lists specs that rival 10mm. While I don't really have a real need for the round It just ticks all the right marks.

I see various conversions for .22, 9mm, and a handful of other ammo. I always wondered how those worked out for people. I think k would be nice to has a firearm than can shoot .45, .40, 9mm, and 22lr with just a few part swaps.

I have a .22lr conversion kit for my Sig 220 that works very well. I have looked at doing a 50 GI on a Glock but the benefits don't warrant the price of doing it.
