I posted this at the Busse sub forum at Blade Forums but wanted to share with the Yard as well.

Yesterday the tiny, thin Bear Cub showed up and today......

.....the Fat HOG Warden!!!!<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I start by saying that the Warden's handle shape is excellent!!! Very comfortable grip and a good size handle.
FAT!!! At .270" and 7" this is one stout Busse!!
Originally I was looking for a Tuxedo Warden (black G10) but this OD/black is awesome!!!
This is my first satin Busse and I will be looking for more!!!! I thought I liked coated blades and I do but I LOVE me this satin finish!!!!!!

It's a great looking blade as are all Busse-kin knives but what would you use it for, I've even started to think that some of my 1/8" stock blades are a little chubby !
On choppers the added weight is always good but on small knives I find thinner blades cut far better.JMO of course.

Ps. Love the bear cub ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

LOL...I did say it looked great ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Actually looking at the pics again it has a hell of a deep plunge line so I guess even with that huge spine thickness it tapers off quite rapidly so probably cuts reasonably well.

I owned that GWs twin - it was the knife that got me started on this crazy Busse/kin adventure!

I'z just razzin' ya Pitman.

To be honest I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with it other than stare longingly at it!! I haven't even tried cutting paper with it but it will shave arm hair. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
I do think that for most of my weekend EDC needs it will be MORE than enough knife. It's much to pretty to bring to work.
I have a sheath on the way from Okuden so it will for surely become a part of my EDC rotation.

It's better to have it & not need it, than to need it & not have it.
