The knife is already in production. Stocking shelves to the brim, then starting another.

Dan's greatest simple pleasure?

No not Whiskey.

Revealing a new design he worked so hard on received with accolades
from his Dog Pound. Post after post of wonderful reactions by the people
whose opinion matters most to him.

Ours. Each and every Dog who drools over a new model. Stories of where it will fit in their use and rotation.

Hearing Dogs plans to use this new blade for a use he may have never envisioned. Watching the Online Order site go bananas with fresh orders.

Seeing the feedback posts after the blades hit homes around the world.
Looking at the posts showing HIS knife being used, and sometimes ABUSED and come out as sharp and perfect as it went in.

In other words Dan Busse is just like ANY one of us. Pride in his hands on work. Proud of his success. Proud he has a loyal following the sells out all his offerings.

He is as proud of us as we are of him and his work.

It's why we are Scrap Yard's Dogs.

And yes, I am [censored] proud to be one.

Peace.

Yup C.P.

We all need to take a moment and remember the product we buy here.

It is not stamped Made In Taiwan. He and his family put their hearts and souls into every model they release.

And they never fail. Every blade is so rock solid that failures are not even a reality.

They are always over-tested by Dan and crew before it's ever posted.

He gives us his very best every time. That gets my respect all day every day.

Peace.

P.S. just noticed Dan has a new product out that never hit the store!!
The "Vanishing" belt buckle!

Seems a lot of Dogs wear um. I must be too, but I can't remember when or where I got it?

Make that three. Good thing is is just invisible to the eyes. I seem to be able to find it when I need it even though I can't see it any more.

'S'Why I'm not wasting time or money on lesser knives any more. I've cleared out most of my dross and have vowed to spend my money only on knives that will outlast my grandchildren's grandchildren.

Only a few good hunting blades, a couple of nice customs, a couple folders, and some stuff I couldn't give away left in the drawers after the bussekin purges. I've spent more on Bussekin blades in the past year+ than I ever thought I'd spend on knives in my life. But knowing each one is nuclear bomb proof, holds and edge like crazy, and is backed by the best warranty in the biz has made me glad to throw the cash down for another piece of steel.
