Okay, I know we all throw the scrapers and water proof matches in our BOBs and packs but they are for last resorts. Every pack should have a lighter or 2 in it...I currently have a couple Bic lighters in each pack but I'm thinking of getting one of the Colemans like the link below. What are your thoughts? What types of lighters do you guys carry in your packs?

Coleman Lighter

bic - made in america lighters are in my bags. I will not keep a chinese pos lighter in my bob, ghb.
Not saying the coleman is china made, but I'd bet dollars to pesos it is.

I don't care for the butane "jet" lighters. They don't work well over 8,000 feet. I carry my usual firestarting stuff with a bic. But I also carry a peanut lighter which is one of the more reliable lighters.

BIC for most things,
Torch for good cigars,
Zippo for cool and fun!

Wow, maybe I'll stick with the Bic lighters then. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for the responses.
