Myself, as well as a few others have mentioned rounding the prommel of the War Dog. Well when I was making my sheaths I buggered up the handle in a few spots <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> and figured I had nothing to lose now. BTW, this compound seems a little softer than the mudder handles. I used a 90 degree die grinder with 3 inch rolock scotchbrite, coarse and fine. This air motor has been a favorite tool in my limited toolbox. I must say I am very satisfied with the results. It feels more natural in the palm of the hand and smoother nestled up to my spare tire. One sheath is a IWB that will be used where I can't carry a gun, like at work. And a weak side sheath for knocking around the boonies with a sidearm.

NICE Hooker! I'm even more determined to do mine now. But just the Wardog. I'm leaving the HACK alone!

And YOU made those sheaths? They are really nice as well! I specially like the thumb ramp for pushing against when you withdraw the blade.

Yea, my sheaths. Not bad for an amateur, but it's not like the thumb ramp was my idea. I just try to emulate some of our favorite local sheath makers.
