I think I am going to pass the word around to the Deputies to save theirs for me. That way I can have one for each OTC med. I just has to replenish my stock of a couple meds as we had used them all up.

Ian, I am not sure if you guys have "snuff" but it is moist and not the dry powder that a lot of the English snorted in the old days. Yeah, I can't say that I've ever noticed it here, maybe in the large cities? Around here it is a country thing. However all West Texas men will have dipped at some point in their lives. It isn't uncommon to have either a bank president or construction work with a pinch between their cheek and gum. Robert Earl Keen has a good song about Copenhagen. Copenhagen and Skoal are both owned by US Smokelss tabacco I believe, which is the worlds largest seller of moist tobacco products. They are a big rodeo sponsor around here. But we are a big rodeo area so I guess that is fitting. If you google "skoal ring" you will see what the cans do to your jeans pocket. Guys who dip wear it like a badge of pride.

Artist: Keen Robert Earl Song: Copenhagen Album: The Live Album Robert Earl Keen Sheet Music Robert Earl Keen CDs
Now, I went out last Sunday with my little Mary-Ann She said please stay still Monday, and grabbed me by my can She laid a big one on me, suprised me with her tongue, But her surprise was waitin' there, between my cheek and gum.
Chorus: Copenhagen, what a wad of flavor. Copenhagen, you can see it in my smile. Copenhagen, do yourself a favor. Chew Copenhagen, drive them pretty girls wild.
So I went to the movies with my little Peggy-Sue, I had my dip there in my lip just like I always do. She didn't know that I was spittin' in my Coca-Cola cup, She took a great big swoller' and threw her popcorn up! Oh!
Chorus:
The moral of this story is so very sad but true. If you stay 'till breakfast friend, they'll want to marry you. So try my little method and I promise you no doubt Dip some Copenhagen if you want to snuff 'em out.

thought long about this one. but i don't have a BOB or any "surviaval" type gear setups yet. I am a tinkerer type so if I did any type of pack there would be wtuff in it based on the idea of creating gadgets that give me some type of advatage. I guess like a McGyver type thing...
anyways... I would probably glue a strong enough magnet to the center or bottom of the dip can and use it to hold an assortment of screws, eyebolts, ubolts, pins, needles, razors (pieces), and other small bits of metal. stuff I could use for traps, trips, securing things, and making small devices.
never know but an eyebolt and some paracord might keep the zombies from coming in the room and eating your brains while you sleep.

Around here a lot of mill workers and loggers use dip as a replacement for smoking I tried it when younger (and loose leaf tobacco) not for me

Skunk, iam an old dip. Use the can to put your kids pencil sharpener shavings in, great fire starter. Get some WET FIRE to go along with your fire starting kit. Best 9 bucks you can spend.

I plan on using one of them to hold my PCB that I have in little 1 inch by 1 1/2 inch ziplock bags. The others are gonna hold some meds I think that I will also seal up in the little ziplock bags. (I DO have a pencil sharpener in my kit to shave dry twigs with though) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I have an old snus tin that I store a few small survival kit items in. If you could find the perfect sized round mirror, I think a dip tin could be perfect for storing small items.
I also use the good 'ol Altoids tin as a FAK. CountyComm has a little tiny signal mirror that might fit in there. Also they sell tins just like the ESEE ones for a couple of bucks.
