That's a cool bat belt. HSGI makes great stuff. Nice setup.

Pretty sure that is a Rainwalker kydex inside waistband sheath. I just got a sheath for my 511 from him and it looks just like that.

I would probably want my handgun reload on the off side and your blade is positioned so as to preclude bending over (but I am guessing that is just for the picture), set up is a very personal thing though, looks like you are good for most bad things that can happen around the house... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

This belt has large amounts of neoprene lining the inside. With this "small" amount of weight it goes nowhere unless I bend over dramatically. If I add more weight I may add suspenders but that is a nonissue now.

I would normally agree but have a wild hair and am trying whatever I can think of to find the best fit. With this location I had access with the left hand easily, but could also easily access the pistol reload with my left hand once my Roscoe was holstered.

Believe it or not the blade was not uncomfortable when bent over unless I tried to touch my toes.

I have since changed the layout slightly and want to introduce a new method of carry to my fellow Dogs on the back side of a new (to me) pouch that is absolutely awesome! I will get pics this week and post them up.

If there is a moral I guess it would have to be don't be afraid to change up your gear. If you decide you don't like it you can always change it back and you have affirmed the first location was the best for now.

How does bending Over feel with the knife right there?

It does not bother me unless I bend completely over and try to touch my toes. I have since found a better location for it but it's not as ambidextrous. Everything is a trade off.

It is kydex from Rainwalker. This is the set up you can wear with a teklok, kydex belt loop or this rubber loop as IWB or inside belt but outside pants.
