Just came to think of the 611, and everybody seems to have their eyes set on the 411 and the 911.
My self included...
Why is the 611 not so popular?
I for one would like to see it with the basic handle and perhaps a thumb ramp like on the SOD...

What do you guys think?

I LoooooooooVe the Regulator handle!-well actually the DE-regulator handle. I don't know why some people don't, it is big and roomy.

If Dan made it with the Basic handle I'm sure he'ld sell twice as many though...

I have the original 6 the Scrapper and it makes me look at the 611 differently because of the de-reg handle but I'll probably be adding it to my collection anyways.

The Regulator handle just looks out of proportion on the 611.

I like choppers, and the 911 will be the first for me from the factory.

Plus I have a lot of six inch blades right now.

I'd like to see and feel what a 911 would be like with the de-regulator type handle. Could be interesting, Hmmm.

for me personally 6 inch blades are kind of the bastard size, to small to chop effectively and to large to do fine work. I am sure I will buy one just because but I am definitely hoping next release is 911 or 411

I know I'm going to LOVE the 611!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I had the fortune of getting to fondle one at Blade last year and I really liked it! As a matter of fact, I personally think it's going to be my favorite Reg handled Scrapper!!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

The bastard size issue is a factor for me as well. I also personally don't find much use for the double guard, it gives the knife somewhat of a weapon feel, which I'm not after. As a military dig and pry kind of knife, I think it'll do a great job though.

Hold it ! Back the bus up . 611 and 411 ? I thought I saw on a thread that the Yard was only doing a 311 , 511 , 711 and 911 . So how many ARE they making ? Will there be a 1011 and an 1111 too ? Man , I need another credit card <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Settle down Mike, there should only be six in this Basic series from the Yard. The 311, 411, 511, 611, 711, and 911. The 311 semms to be the first to significantly differ from the prototype.
