Has anyone ordered the condura sheath optional for 24.95 on Scrapyards site?

What size knife does it fit? Was it the sheath for the Regulator?

Does anyone have any pics of it they can post?

Thanks

I ordered it for 911 alltough the 10" sheath might have been suitable. I don't know for sure but I think the cordura sheath is made for each knife individually.

I might be wrong with this...

Yeah, its the regulator sheath. The Reg had a 7 3/4" blade I think. The 7-11 will fit but the 9-11 shouldn't...my CGDF doesn't it would pierce the end.

They have a long Cordura and a short one (6" & 10"). Or at least they used to. The 6" would fit up to a 7" blade. They are on the order page. The 10" fits the Dogfather, BWM, and several other long blade knives. I ordered the 10" sheath with my 911. We will see if they are still available. The 6" was originally for the S6, but it fit a lot of 6" to 7" blade knives. THe one for the Regulator was a special one made for that knife. They also made a kydex sheath especially for the S6.

Crummy pic but was handy. Never actually mounted it to the vest, It was just too big. Liner was replaced with kydex. And second retension snap strap was removed.

How is the quality? And does anyone know who made the condura sheaths?
It looks pretty good!

the $24.95 sheath WAS sold for the Regulator, but it fits all 7-7.5" blades fine. It fits a 7-11 and a Chopweiler just fine--I have one of each resting in there <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

There is also a sheath for 6" blades and one for 10". The 7" is my fav, since the retention straps have snaps AND velcro rather than just velcro.

Vic said the 10 inch sheath would fit the BWM,and it does, nicely. Same quality as the other SY cordura sheathes as far as I can tell. Works for me but would benefit (cause it's stronger material) from replacing the insert with a kydex one to fit your particular blade. BUT the liner with the sheath works fine.

Can't beat it for the money.

Thanks for all the info guys. I have a 10" condura sheath for my DFLE and I ordered another one for my SY 911. They are nice sheaths for the price.
