Had to take a little time Friday to do some cleanup from recent storms. Seemed like a good opportunity to get my 711 and a few other blades out for some exercise.



Here's a look at today's tool selection Saw, Machete, Rope, Machax, 711 and NMFBM.

Chopping is allways a good father daughter activity. Some nice set ups you have there. Are you making pouches now? Looks mighty handy.

That's an old Tramontina machete that I've had for probably 25 or 30 years. The handle broke years ago so I gave it a longer more serviceable one. It's kinda like a light weight extra long Cutlass now. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

That machete does look bad- in hand pics! Looks huge!

I love my old Tramontina. Sometimes, an old beater like that is just what you need. But mine doesn't look as sweet as Jeff's. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Here ya go, BTW it's got a 27 inch blade. The steel is slightly thicker than the ones that make now, which is a good thing IMO, considering that length.
