I like it, but you know I love my FAL rifle. Wish I still had all the ones I built back up and the ammo I foolishly blasted away--Hirt, Aussie, Port, SA, Argy (the good stuff). I was looking the other day and I only have about 3000 rds left. Made me sad.

I hear ya Jeff.

I'm still doing pretty good with my ammo stash and have 8 FAL's to play with, so life is good !

Looks better with the combo device on it mate...and you can't go wrong with Aussie 7.62...long time since I have seen and L2A2 ...where did you dig that up...???

Go over to the FAL Files in the Oregon section and see the results for the 6th annual MBR class. This rifle, ammo, and I won the class out of 23 shooters.

lazi, you know my love of the 7.62x51mm. If I had to grab a FAL or an M1a (m14) FAL is it every time.

Not a bad option. Not all the Poly's had bolt issues. If it does have a bolt issue get a USGI one, and have Warbird in TX do the work (very affordable) and get a US made stock, flash hider, and use UGI mags and you are in compliance with a forged receiver M14 type rifle that will serve you well. 6,000 rds--I can make a trip down and we can burn that up in my Para if you want
