Lightning is surprisingly easy. I can give you tips for lightning shots, but it looks like you've got that down, already.

WD,
I can give you strategies and tips for shooting butterflies in flight, but, honestly, I think you'll find it exceedingly difficult to take good shots of butterflies in flight, with that set up.
May I recommend landscapes, close-ups, and portraiture? I know boss lol and agree but it's fun trying and you seen my attempts!

I think it's fun, too, but when I tried to take my Ma and Bro on a lightning shoot, they ran back to the car, as soon as the winds started howling and rains started pelting us, right when the lightning and thunder was gettin' good!
