Yes, that stuff really works. I got to meet and hang out with the lady who invented it, a few years ago, in the Sierras, while she was experimenting with dog-based bear aversion training. I've done some training w/ a couple of police K-9's, great dogs - smart, brave, obedient... but I think the bear would take them!

I imagine bear repellent would be pretty effective on humans, too. And it puts out a heck of a blast. You could blast several folks at once.
Just make sure the wind is blowing away from you.... Yeah, they make them so they form a cloud.
