My guess is, he was a crew chief on a C-130 Hercules, Sea Stallion, Sea Knight or maybe even a Huey.

Great guess, Warren. Actually the likelihood of it being a Sea Stallion was very small. There were very few left in the Marine Corps. Now there are none, having been phased out by the Osprey.

I was never a fan of the Osprey. I saw one crash killing 19 Marines. It was already a terrible thing to see. Knowing they were our replacements made it even worse.
