I think the war dog is a really great design. My #1 combat blade would probably be an skinny ash-1 but followed close by a war dog. I also like the sjtac a lot. It never ends... I'd put Boss Jack first and the War Dog would be my choice if I wanted to really count ounces for my load out.

My Boss Jack weighs like twice as much as the War Dog, which I guess goes both ways performance wise.

I wish I would of gotten black canvas and tanker blade for the NMFSH CG, but got the Tan/Black G10 w/ tanker blade. 2 hours late, so I guess I can't be that picky.
