You guys following any firearms forums or just knife forums?
Just found it hilarious that NBC's David Gregory is being investigated for possession of a 30rd magazine on TV after being told by the DC police that he was not to have one for the show.
Now the media are all yapping about how it was "only a stupid media stunt" and how he shouldn't be slapped with felony charges because he never intended to commit a crime (yet he did, knowingly).
A local New York state newspaper (owned by Gannet media) posted a map made from public records where you could see all handgun owners in several counties. This also blew up because gun-owners and non-gun-owners alike were upset that burglars were now able to more easily select their target. EVERY single comment was negative about this stunt.
I see this blowing up in their faces.
Now Diane Feinstein is proposing a new AWB in a week, so if you enjoy any kind of firearms, make your voice heard by emailing and calling your senators and representatives. Especially the ones not likely to agree with you.
Don't make the mistake of letting them ban guns you don't care about, they will come for yours next. Then, like in Europe, they will ban the knives, etc.
