No kidding!

Her dad gave her an old Model 10 Smith revolver, she's working with it too.

But she's not afraid of anything I've got. She even shot my 30.06 the other day.

She's POISON with the 30/30. She can hit a drink can at 50 yards easy. Not bad for never shot a gun until about a month ago.

Now my problem is keeping ammo for her to shoot. Can't find much around here, and I hate to shoot up all my reserve stuff.

She asked me to buy her a Model 60 Ladysmith for her birthday in July. I'll have a hard time finding one, but I'm gonna try my best.

You MIGHT check into a model 60-10, 3 inch SS 357. That is what I have and it's a nice balancing/handling revolver.

Same basic gun, if I'm not mistaken. She only wants the Ladysmith for the grips, but then she's decided that she wants Crimson Trace grips on it instead.

IF she isn't worried about the 3 inch barrel length, you can get those same grips for the 3 inch, plus it has a slightly longer sight radius and should have a bit more velocity, but don't know how much more it would be. But for me the 3 inch balances better.

I personally like a 3 inch barrel myself. But I'm going to get one of the Ruger LCR's soon to pocket carry on the motorcycle.

For self defence use laser sights may slow you down.
