did you try benadryl? see if an antihistamine helps.

there are typically 3 types of allergic reactions: histamine response, immunological response, a mix of both.

its important to figure out what type it is in order to stop the reaction.

i had a really bad mixed reaction last summer and had to get to the ER before i went into anaphylaxis. that stuff is no joke.

Contact dermatitis. It's the same reaction you get to poison ivy, which is probably why it feels like it. I'm not overly trusting of Taiwanese doctors and the meds they prescribe, but I think the diagnosis is accurate. He wants to put me on prednisolone, tranexamic acid and betamenthasone cream. A little nervouse about all that on top of everything else I'm taking....

the reaction that put me in the ER produced contact dermatitis as well. looked like chemical burns. worse than any poison ivy ive had, but along the same lines.

im surprised though if he didnt recommend any oral antihistamine first.
