when I start hog hunting maybe I can look at picking up a dutch oven.

i thought about doing the pit. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> if i have a group to feed i fully intend to try it a few time.
saw a video once where they plopped the platter on the table and the pig pretty much just fell apart! talk about some good eating!

one day i googled the place where my dad grew up and it turns out they have one of the oldest populations of hogs known to the US. my mom always points out they had deer long before they ever showed up on the land where I hunted this past season.

hope so...
what size deep fryer did you have?
like the idea of a 2 basket... thinking I could find something to toss in the other side to keep from using so much oil when cooking with just one side.
