.44 special is hard to find

I had a Taurus .44 Special once, it was a great little trail gun. I carried it loaded with snake shot for when I was trout fishing.

It was actually my ex-wife's, but I carried it more than she did.

I took my ccw class with John Ross, and he let us shoot his .500. A girl that weighed less than 120 almost smacked herself on head.

The 329 isnt as bad as you would think. Its not like you sit and put 200 rounds through it at a time anyway

Never got to shoot one of those. They look pretty hefty, but still I'd expect a serious recoil.

i don't want any more .400 caliber firearms. the .300's seem to be slightly cheaper to shoot and I'm thinking they will get most jobs done.

I'd like to have a .44 Mag Model 629 to deer hunt with. But for plinking and playing, they're just too expensive for most people. (Me included)

I've had a lot of guns in my life, but over the years I pared my collection down quite a bit. Sold several that I wished I'd have kept, and got rid of a lot that were lacking in some way or the other.

I shot 50 rounds of 357 on that scandium frame and didn't realize I had blood tricking down my hands. I was gripping so hard that my finger nails where digging in.

Ouch! Those light frames are a real pain to shoot. Easier to carry, but I'd not want to shoot more than a cylinder or two at a time.
