I have my prototype/first shot at a sheath for my RattleHawk. Its a kydex bottom loader. The retention is interesting. It tilts in and hangs from the beard and the tension is on the spike. You have the pull out the spike then rotate the hawk to get it out of the sheath. So far it seems pretty secure and I am unable to shake it out by holding the spike end and shaking it. So far so good.

I want to test it out a bit before I finish shaping it and smoothing everything out.

I am not in the business. I make them for myself and occasionally people at work & friends. There are far more talented sheath makers here. I just do it because only costs me time and materials. Plus I can try differnt things.

Since we are all friends here you need to make a few hundred for us. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Looking good. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Good lookin piece of plastic MB. Since I don't have a Rattlehawk, you can give mine to someone else. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
