This is a part of my kit. I do need to get another pack for week long trips and more comfortable winter but no hurry with a new baby at home I don't see many week long Winter trips. the pack I have is small but enough For me to do 3 days or more

Nice kit - needs TRAUMA gear!

You should add:

* H&H Compressed Gauze
* Israeli Compression Bandage
* QuikClot (or some other Hemocon)
* ACE Bandage
* Cravat
* Combat Application Tourniquet
* Light Stick

It doesn't take training to use any of the above, and they'll stop bleeding and/or will help immobilize a break long enough to get out to safety/rescue.
