I know that there is a lot of shooters on here that my already know about this product. But if you don't here is the low down. I have used it on my fire arms and my knives. The best part is that it is food safe and it stays on the the metal. http://youtu.be/RMZZ7gAxhJg * Watch the video for a surprise announcement.

* I think that the original post violated Dans rules, so I Re-worded it and it should be site compliant now. If not, Tom or one of the other Mods, please take take whatever action is needed.

I didn't know frogs needed lube... They seem pretty slippery as they are...!?

Is this forum rule compliant? Sounds great though.

Yes you put the frog lube on your knife once and it seeps into the steel and protects it from rust and its foo safe.

Just entered. Thanks for the info. I was initially glad to see a product that could help my amphibian keep its natural slickness but was even happier to see what the product actually was <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Honestly, I have used this stuff several times. Please dont think I am bashing it, but it just hasnt worked for me. On firearms, doesnt seem to last, and gums up a bit. Have used it on my Rodent Solution and the egde still started to patina. Cleaned it off and have been using a Tuff Cloth with perfect results.

I have never lubed a frog, but I've gotta second the Tuf-cloth(marine type for me) I've used it on a lot of steel, especially Damascus, and it works great! I will have to look into this product. Thanks for the post.

If you are already going to be in trouble for buying the knife, go ahead and get the sheath!)

I wonder if any chain stores carry it or if I have to get it off the Internet
