I just got a sweet Boss Jack variant, thought I'd compare it to my CG model with some pics....

I'm not sure exactly what variant I have, but I believe it came from one of the shows.

I think I prefer the G-10 slabs on the show variant more at this point, the CG slabs seem a bit too aggressively textured for my tastes.



The show variant sports a fuller, and the grind is a saber with a convex bevel down to the secondary bevel.

This makes for a much thicker edge than the CG, yet it still cuts very well.

Sweet! I think the choilless models look better

The grind is quite different on the Show variant, along with the handles being textured differently.

The CG has a "mellow" Full Convex grind, whereas the Show Variant has a Convex Saber Grind. This makes the edge noticeably thicker on this model vs. the CG.

The handle on the CG is fully "rope" cut, vs. the semi "rope" cut with light texturing on the show variant.

The difference is slight but noticeable, I guess it depends on what activities you were using the knife for....
