Well my brother and I had a discussion about BP firearms. I posted in the other forum about my thoughts on BP and being prepared. I think the ammo situation will finally smooth out and a supply chain restored again when the A** Bill falls flat on its butt and Frakenstien has to eat dirt. Hopefully, with continued pressure on Congress and the support of the Supreme Court this will pass and we can wake up from this nightmare we call life-----why can't people love the Constitution and follow it instead of making everything about government control?

Some people are so insecure, they cannot do any speaking without artificial help. They are also so insecure that the only way they can feel average is to become a tyrant, a dictator. Narcissism is a disease. Unfortunately it usually manifests itself in those who claim to serve others.

i've been thinking about that very point for a while skunk. i wonder what the prevalence of psychopathic or narcissistic personality types fill these jobs/career paths. you have to figure people like that are attracted to positions of power, as they have the most motivation to attain them. there should be tests for this.

Ever meet those who join all the right clubs, churches, and civic groups? They love attention. They love telling everyone else how to live and give each other various awards. Always the same people. The problem with electing our overlords is that the type of person who seeks such power is the last person you would want to have it. i've thought about that as well. an interesting system would have those that are willing take the psychological qualification tests, then be entered into a lottery where they win a chance to help out with the country.

I liked Jim Hightowers idea (I think he was the first with it)- to have all elected officials wearing jackets like nascar drivers with donor names so you knew who had the vested interest...

I bet you wish you had ordered more. You need to start socking away components for reloading. I can’t remember the last time I bought a box of 223 to feed my modern day firearm. I saw at the last gun show, 223 going for just over a buck a round. With DHS ordering still more millions of rounds, ammo will still be in short supply for us peons.

I think it is a load of crap that the gov't is ordering so many rds for agencies within the borders of the US. Why?

Not seeing anything around here but then again I have not been looking real hard. I know most people are buying up what they can--some are storing, some are shooting, and others are flipping it for major money. It is a free-market but I am sure those who are flipping for a large amount really don't care about their fellow shooters or the Constitution of the US.

Who are the bullets for? According to the latest terrorism report taught at West Point, the gov't now fears the "Right Wing".

Thing is, I can't recall any major news stories about such violence from libertarians. But they are included in the laundry list of potential terrorists. What about Lord Obama's buddy, Bill Ayers? Left wing terrorists aren't even mentioned in the report. But DHS is stocking up on ammo for some reason to use on SOMEbody.
